You are joyfully invited to our wedding

Hello all friends and Family!

Johanne Pelletier and Francis Murchison would like to invite you to our wedding and reception on Saturday September 1st 2007. The festivities are to be held in the open air of La Batiscan park in St-Stanislas-de-Champlain, Québec. We would be honored if you and yours would join us to celebrate our love and undying commitment to one another.

Program:
Suggested arrival time 1pm Saturday.
Marriage ceremony 3:00pm
Harvest meal, reception, and party 6pm onwards. (Drinks are not included, please bring your own wine)

We will be taking this occasion to introduce all of you formally to Oscar as some have not had the opportunity to meet him. Oscar will soon be two years old (September 18th) we would like to highlight his birthday by choosing two individuals who will take a special place in his life: his godmother and godfather.

RSVP as soon as possible please: Francis.murchison@gmail.com
We can't wait to find out who is coming. Also, in order to properly organize food quantities and other crucial details we ask you to please communicate your intentions as soon as possible.

In park activities:
- Camping;
- Hiking;
- Whirlpool bathing in the Batiscan river;
- Mountain biking;
- Whitewater kayaking (for experts only).

Activities shall be organized for young children Saturday afternoon and during the reception. All those interested are encouraged to come early and enjoy all that the park has to offer or even stay an extra day or so.

Dress
:

We suggest that you come dressed for the great outdoors, nothing too fancy. We are trying to keep things simple so you can take it easy with the clothing. Please boycott the bridal salon and wear something you feel comfortable in. This includes an invitation to the more eccentric who would like to wear the costume of their choice.

How to get there:

The park entrance is on route 352 between St-Narcisse and St-Stanislas, approximately half an hour from Trois rivières For directions from Montreal to St-Stanislas click here

By bicycle: Using the route verte by bicycle is easiest from Quebec City, however, one can also ride from Montreal by taking the 138 (get directions at the la route verte website http://
www.routeverte.com/).

By car: we encourage you to carpool. If you have room in your car or are looking for a ride simply post a comment at the bottom of this page describing your situation. Don't forget to post your email so that interested parties can contact you.

By bus: Unfortunately, the bus can only take you to Trois-Rivères. Someone would have to come and pick you up at the station.

Lodging in the Area:
There are a variety of possibilities for staying overnight. We suggest that you all do so for your own safety after the party and to enjoy the tranquility of the countryside.

-Camping in the park we recommend this because it allows for maximum enjoyment of this marvelous site. Camp sites offer, fresh drinking water, showers and washrooms, but no electricity. Seven campsites have been reserved for Saturday and Sunday night at $30 a night. We encourage you to reserve as soon as possible and are proceeding on a first-come first-served basis.

For reservations call Normand or Marie-Paule 450-979-3041 during the week, 418-328-4545 on weekends, or by email at paulenor@pro-gam.ca

* From experience we can assure you that it is best to reserve well in advance. Especially since this is a long weekend. The best campsites tend to go quite quickly.
